New In-Game Feature: Macro Check
We are excited to introduce a new in-game feature aimed at enhancing fair play: the Macro Check. Here's everything you need to know:
How It Works
Who is affected?
- This feature affects players in party sizes of one.
When does it occur?
- When you restart a stage, there is a chance you will be prompted for a macro check.
What happens during a macro check?
- The macro check will ask you to select a random option.
- You have three attempts to get it correct, with a 45-second time limit.
- If you fail, you will be immediately prompted again to answer a new question until you either answer correctly or fail three times.
Consequences
Incorrect answers:
- If you answer a question incorrectly, your failure will be broadcasted to the entire server.
- Players who answer three questions incorrectly consecutively will receive an automatic 365-day ban for all their characters.
- Each test is completely independent from other tests. In order to receive an auto-ban, you must answer 3 incorrect answers and/or timeouts within the same macro check.
Correct answers:
- Upon answering a question correctly, your incorrect answer counter will reset.
Additional Information
Loading screens:
- The macro check will always prevent a loading screen from appearing. If you see a loading screen, it is safe to assume that you were not prompted for the macro check.
Reporting issues:
- If you experience any issues, please take screenshots and report them to support-misc.
Random Questions and Answers
Coming next patch, the old questions were removed, and now all answers and questions are random. You will be asked to pick a random fruit combination.
Updates to Incorrect Answers
Failing even once will flag you to be required to perform a macro check at a substantially higher frequency than normal for 24 hours
We hope this new feature will help maintain the integrity of our game and ensure a fair experience for all players. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
